"We are excited to have Felix join our expanding team of state government professionals," said Mark Bowles, executive vice president and director of the State Government Relations group. "As a former staffer in the Governor's policy office, Felix brings with him a wealth of experience and a vast number of contacts."

Prior to joining MWC, Sarfo-Kantanka served as a special assistant to the Governor for policy. In that role he advised the Governor on public safety and Commonwealth preparedness issues. He also served as a legislative assistant to House Minority Leader Franklin P. Hall, where he oversaw and coordinated activities for the 69th legislative House district, drafted bills and researched legislative issues.

Sarfo-Kantanka was recently named as one of Style Weekly’s Top 40 Under 40 and is also a graduate of the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at the University of Virginia. He earned an undergraduate degree in political science from Methodist University in Fayetteville, N.C., and a master’s degree in public administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
