THE HILL LISTS DONATELLI AS
TOP LOBBYIST

J. Donatelli, our executive vice
president and director of Federal
Government Relations, was included in
The Hill's annual list of top lobbyists
from grassroots organizations,
nonprofits, law firms and public affairs
firms in Washington, D.C.
Each
spring, The Hill, a newspaper for
and about Congress, publishes a list of
the “cream of the crop” from the
approximately 12,000 lobbyists
registered in Washington . They invite
members of Congress as well as their
office and committee staffs, and the
lobbyists themselves, to identify those
lobbyists whose names “keep turning up
as top power brokers.”
According
to The Hill, “They’re
lightning quick on the draw, and they
hit the legislative target, too.”

A
long-time activist in Republican and
conservative causes, Donatelli also
serves as counsel to McGuireWoods LLP.
His previous appointments have included
a number of positions in the Reagan
White House. He assisted former White
House Chief of Staff James Baker in the
2000 Florida recount on behalf of the
Bush-Cheney team, and was a senior
advisor to Bob Dole in 1996. He
previously worked in the presidential
campaigns of George Bush and Ronald
Reagan.
