1. GMU receives proposal for faculty housing
A notice from GMU regarding an
unsolicited proposal recently received to provide faculty
housing on property owned by the college.
2. Stafford and Prince William Boards review HOT lanes

4. VDOT solicits interest in road projects
VDOT has issued a request asking for private firms to
indicate whether they have an interest in pursuing
development of the Midtown Tunnel in Hampton Roads or the
Western Transportation Corridor around northern Virginia
through the PPTA.
5. Chesterfield decides to use normal procurement
process
On Election Day, Chesterfield County voters
overwhelmingly adopted a large bond package to fund school
construction over the next few years. According to the
Richmond Times-Dispatch (November 4, 2004), James R.
Schroeder, chairman of the Chesterfield County School board,
the county will not use the public-private act again until
an external audit has been completed. That audit should be
completed by the end of 2004.
