Patrick is a senior vice president in the federal public affairs group at McGuireWoods Consulting. Patrick works out of the firm’s Washington D.C. and Chicago offices, and focuses his practice on government relations and public advocacy. He represents clients before Congress, the White House, federal agencies, and state and local governments.
Patrick has spent seven years working for former Indiana governor and United States Senator Evan Bayh, both as an aide in his U.S. Senate office and then as his senior advisor at McGuireWoods. Prior to working for Senator Bayh and McGuireWoods, he served as a special assistant to the Director at the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. In 2009, Patrick was one of only 100 interns chosen to work at the White House during the first summer of the Obama Administration.
Patrick is a native of the Chicago suburbs and a graduate of the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign where he earned his bachelor’s degree in international, resource, and consumer economics. Patrick and his wife Caitlin reside in Washington D.C., where they are parishioners at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle.
