Gabriel Iosif joined McGuireWoods Romania in February 2010 as a senior advisor. He focuses his practice on government relations and business development, especially in the matters pertaining to the energy and healthcare sectors.

Prior to joining the McGuireWoods Romania, Gabriel served as an advisor to the Minister of Economy on privatization and administration of State participations. He also has significant experience in local and municipal administration serving as Parks, Lakes and Leisure Commissioner for Bucharest Municipality. Before joining the public administration, he had accumulated more than 18 years of experience in the private sector, leading the regional lighting subsidiaries of GE and Siemens after successfully launching two business ventures in health care and commodity trading.
