Johnny Tillett joined McGuireWoods Consulting as a vice president in the firm’s Raleigh office. He is a member of the state government relations group and specializes in telecommunications, health care and environmental interests.
Tillett was the principal of his own lobbying practice in Raleigh before joining MWC. Although his practice was only two years old, he quickly became a key player in the state’s legislative circles amassing a strong and diverse client base. Prior to opening his lobbying business, Tillett served in key positions within Dare County government and the North Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice.
