Madison Busch joined McGuireWoods Consulting's Washington, D.C. office in September 2008 as a research assistant specializing in federal government relations. Prior to joining McGuireWoods Consulting, she interned at the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership, a bipartisan organization dedicated to improving political leadership in Virginia, where she was responsible for recruitment and planning for its youth programs.

Madison has media experience having worked for Charlottesville radio station 92.7 KISS FM where she wrote and recorded news updates. She was also an editor of Uncommon Ground, a monthly political publication of the Informed Voters Foundation and served as a Charlottesville City Election Official from 2004 through 2008.
Madison graduated from the University of Virginia earning a bachelor’s degree in history and foreign affairs, with a concentration in Middle Eastern studies. She is also a graduate of the Sorensen Institute’s College Leaders Program and remains involved with the organization.
