Mircea G. Ilie

Mircea G. Ilie joined McGuireWoods Romania as a senior manager for government relations. Prior to joining McGuireWoods Romania, Mircea served as senior competition expert with the Romanian Competition Council, the national competition authority, where he gained significant experience in dealing with a full range of competition law issues before the European Union's DG Competition on behalf of central and local public authorities, as well as for Romanian and foreign companies. Possessing experience in corporate finance, capital markets, infrastructure projects, real estate development, energy - with a focus on high-efficiency CHP and renewables, banking and financial services, Mircea specializes in competition and state aid, business development, state and local government relations and strategic communications.
