Collier will be leading the firm's lobbying practice before the City of Chicago and Cook County. He will work with the firm's Illinois and federal government relations teams to build on the already robust lobbying practice in those areas. Collier will also provide leadership to the firm’s public finance services in Illinois.
"We are extremely excited to add Darren to our growing Chicago and Illinois practice," said Thomas F. Londrigan, Jr., Senior Vice President and Director of Illinois Government Relations. "Darren brings with him a wealth of experience and clients that will help our Illinois practice continue to meet our goal of becoming the premier provider of public affairs services in the state."
Prior to joining MWC, he was most recently with Barnes & Thornburg's Chicago office where he had a federal, state and local lobbying practice and a legal practice in public finance. Collier has held positions with the Illinois Attorney General's Office and the Illinois Housing Development Authority, and also served as associate with the law firms of Schiff, Hardin & Waite and Ungaretti and Harris.
