Miner, Deshields Named Co-Directors of MWC's Austin Office

AUSTIN - McGuireWoods Consulting announced today that Mark Miner and Holly Deshields will lead the firm's Austin office as co-directors. The firm also announced the hiring of Amber Hausenfluck as an assistant vice president and Ellen Joyce as a research assistant.

The moves come after the recent announcement that Luis Saenz is leaving the firm to become Director of Appointments for Gov.-elect Greg Abbott.

"Today’s announcement ensures that McGuireWoods Consulting's Austin operation is in the capable hands of two former senior-level staffers who possess the knowledge, experience and connections to build upon the foundation of the office’s previous successes," said L.F. Payne, president of McGuireWoods Consulting.  "With Holly and Mark leading our efforts and the additions of Amber and Ellen to the existing team, we are well positioned to handle any legislative or regulatory issue that may arise while also continuing to provide exceptional service for our clients."
