BUCHAREST – McGuireWoods Romania announced today that three new consultantshave joined its Bucharest office. Daniela Şerban joins as public relationsand strategic communications coordinator, Florin Puşcău as governmentrelations coordinator, and Margareta Chesaru as associate governmentrelations. The new hires will service clients in growing sectors such asfinance, defense, healthcare, and energy.

Ms. Şerban has 12 years of experience in the capital markets in Romania andthe surrounding region having held various roles in public relations,government relations, financial communication, digital marketing andproject management at the Bucharest Stock Exchange over the past sevenyears. Previously, she had been a presenter and anchor at The MoneyChannel, the first Romanian Business television station.
Puşcău has extensive experience in various institutions related to centraland local government. He last served as Secretary General of the HealthMinistry. Throughout his tenure, Puşcău has held key positions both withinthe Romanian Government and other central and local public institutions,such as the Finance Ministry, the National Agency for Fiscal Administrationand the Ministry of Development.
Ms. Chesaru is an attorney who brings relevant experience in the finance,energy and medical sectors. She has successfully represented variouscompanies and investors before central authorities and various institutionsin both regulatory and mergers and acqusitions transactions.
