Falak Sabbak recently joined the McGuireWoods Consulting Atlanta, Georgia team as an assistant vice president. She will assist clients with a number of issues before the Georgia General Assembly, where she has a decade of experience.

Prior to joining McGuireWoods Consulting, Sabbak served as the executive director of the Georgia House Democratic Caucus, managing internal and external communications and counseling members on pending legislation.

“We are delighted to have Falak join our Georgia team,” said Rob Fortson, senior vice president and director of MWC’s Atlanta office. “She comes to us following several notable positions with the Georgia Democratic Caucus and General Assembly. She undoubtedly adds depth to our already strong bipartisan team.”

Sabbak managed the 2018 House Democratic Caucus campaign operation, which resulted in the most successful election night for Georgia Democrats since 1998. In addition to her work with the Democratic Caucus, Sabbak served as a legislative aide in the Georgia General Assembly and was the executive assistant to the Minority Leader Stacey Abrams.

“Falak’s experience and relationships will benefit our clients in ways that differentiate our team,” MWC president Gov. Jim Hodges said. “We are excited to have her on board.”

A native of Marietta, Georgia, Sabbak earned her Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Georgia.
