McGuireWoods Consulting announced several promotions this week, recognizing the work of individuals in state government relations and MWCAdvocacy.

James Sherwood in Illinois and Amber Barnes in South Carolina were both promoted to senior vice presidents. In Georgia, Katie Gregory was promoted to vice president. Laura Puryear in North Carolina was also promoted to vice president.

On the MWCAdvocacy team, Abigail Floyd was promoted to vice president and Daniel Whitehead was promoted to assistant vice president.

“Despite the challenges of 2020, McGuireWoods Consulting continues to grow. These team members are dedicated to client service and we’re proud to acknowledge their career development,” said Gov. Jim Hodges, president of the firm.
