VIRGINIAforever Helps Raise Awareness for Water Quality with U.Va. Bay Game
McGuireWoods Consulting client VIRGINIAforever was
recently mentioned in a Richmond Times-Dispatch column by Tee Clarkson
regarding its efforts to raise awareness and advocate for increased government
funding for water quality and land
conservation. The organization hosted a gathering of its members and roughly 20
students from the University of Virginia and Randolph-Macon to play the U.Va.
Bay Game. The U.Va. Bay Game was initially designed
as an “adaptable educational and learning tool for raising awareness about
watershed stewardship anywhere in the world; a tool for exploring and testing
policy choices; and a tool for evaluating new products and services,” according
to the U.Va. website.
