Daniel is a research associate on McGuireWoods Consulting’s South Carolina government affairs team. In this role, he assists the government relations staff with legislative monitoring, client communications, and research.
While earning his bachelor’s degree in business administration at the University of South Carolina, Daniel took advantage of various internship opportunities that introduced him to the world of government relations and politics. In the summer of 2018, he worked for Congressman Joe Wilson as an intern in Washington D.C., and in the following spring, served as a page in the South Carolina House Ethics Committee office. Shortly thereafter, Daniel transferred to the University of South Carolina Aiken to finish his degree in his hometown where he would go on to serve in two State House election campaigns.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods Consulting, Daniel worked as a golf professional at various golf and country clubs around the state. As an avid and competitive golfer, Daniel pursued the opportunity upon graduation to join the PGA of America, which allowed him to teach and grow the game that had been so influential to him becoming who he is today.
