BIO

Travis is a vice president in the MWCAdvocacy group where he works to achieve clients’ public affair goals through developing and mobilizing grassroots coalitions and executing strategic communication efforts. His current work includes healthcare, energy and natural resources matters, along with other public affairs and grassroots campaigns.

Prior to joining McGuireWoods Consulting, Travis worked with various organizations focusing on matters related to energy, natural resources, and education. His previous work includes state legislative affairs, grassroots coalition development, communications, and managing the respective political action committees of those organizations.

Travis has also lead efforts to make various issues with grassroots support central to state and statewide political campaigns. Most recently, he led efforts to make education issues a top focus in the 2017 gubernatorial and General Assembly elections.

Travis is a native of Lebanon, Virginia and earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University.
