Ellie joined McGuireWoods Consulting in 2021 having previously worked for several nonprofit organizations and political campaigns focusing on digital communications, legislative advocacy, and grassroots mobilization. Her knowledgeable background includes substantive work in social media management, targeted content development, and graphic design as well as coalition building and communications strategy. Ellie’s experience ranges from working with diverse local, state, and federal groups to numerous industries and policy areas such as healthcare, real estate and land use, immigration, energy, and education.

Ellie is a native Austinite and earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and international studies and Spanish from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. Prior to joining the firm, Ellie led the communications and operations efforts for a local nonprofit in Austin that focuses on civic engagement, leadership development, and community education. She has additionally spent time working for Congress and in Washington, D.C.
