Rael joined McGuireWoods Consulting in July 2022 as a research associate on the firm’s federal public affairs team. His responsibilities include tracking and analyzing federal policy and conducting client research. Prior to joining McGuireWoods Consulting, Rael served as a legal analyst for a government affairs firm, where he analyzed legislative policy and conducted research specific to the gambling industry. Before that, Rael served as a legislative analyst with the Florida Senate, analyzing legislative proposals, drafting legislation and amendments, and working with members of the Florida legislature. He worked on a Senatorial reelection campaign during the 2016 election cycle.
Rael is from south Florida and is a graduate of Florida State University. He holds a B.A. in international affairs and M.S. in intelligence analysis.
