Alexandra joined McGuireWoods Consulting's federal public affairs team in Washington, D.C. in 2021 as a research associate. In this role, she assists clients with research and legislative monitoring on health care and other policy areas.
Alexandra previously worked as a legislative analyst for a D.C. government relations firm, where she tracked legislative policy and carried out research in a number of policy areas, including healthcare, financial affairs, and transportation. She also has experience as a finance intern on a 2018 congressional campaign.
In her prior position as a Fulbright grantee, Alexandra worked as an English Teaching Assistant at the public university located in Crato, Ceará, Brazil.
Alexandra is from upstate New York and graduated cum laude from Hamilton College in 2019, where she majored in world politics. Prior to attending college, Alexandra spent a year in João Pinheiro, Minas Gerais, Brazil as a Rotary Youth Exchange Student, where she was commended by Rotary District 4760 for her work with elementary school English classes.
