Gabriel Florin Puscau joined McGuireWoods Romania in October 2017 as coordinator of Government Relations. He possesses significant expertise in healthcare, business and public administration.
Florin has 16 years of public administration experience and worked as Secretary General at the Ministry of Young and Sports, Secretary General at the Ministry of Health from 2013-2017. During his time with the Ministry, he was responsible for approving draft normative acts and including them on the government's work agenda, coordinating support directions as well as liaising with other ministries and parliament.
From 2001-2013, Florin has held various roles in the United Nation Development Program, Directorate of Public and Administrative Procurement - Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism, National Council for Combating Discrimination and Ministry of Public Information. In the private sector, Florin worked for the Romanian Soft Company from 2009-2012
He graduated both from the Academy of Economic Studies (2003), with a specialization in Supply and Disposal Management and the Faculty of Management-Marketing at the Romanian-American University (2002). Florin completed his studies with a Law – Economics Masters diploma from the University of European Studies of Moldova in 2014.
